Last updated October 19, 2026

The short version

Your content is yours. Be kind to other people in seichu and don't game the leaderboards. seichu isn't medical advice. We may change or improve features, and you can export or delete your data whenever you like.

1.Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and seichu (“seichu”, “we”, “us”) and cover your use of the seichu website and app (the “service”). By creating an account or using seichu, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use seichu.

2.Who can use seichu

You must be at least 13 years old to use seichu. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. Accounts that say they belong to someone under 13 can't be used and are deleted within 30 days.

3.Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication in Settings.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • One person per account. Don't share your account or create accounts by automated means.

4.Your content

You own what you put into seichu: your tasks, notes, habits, logs, profile and everything else (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run seichu for you. For example, we show your public profile and leaderboard stats to other users, and put your stats on share cards you create.

You're responsible for your content and for having the right to share it. You can export it or delete it at any time from Settings.

5.Acceptable use

Please be kind to the people you meet in seichu. You agree not to:

  • Use a username, avatar or tagline that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or that impersonates someone else.
  • Harass, threaten, spam or abuse other users, including through friend requests, invites or focus rooms.
  • Manipulate streaks, leaderboards or referrals, for example with fake accounts or automated activity.
  • Break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
  • Try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, probe or bypass our security, or disrupt the service.
  • Scrape, copy, resell or reverse engineer seichu, except where the law allows it.

We may remove content or change usernames that break these rules, and suspend or close accounts that break them seriously or repeatedly.

6.Not medical advice

seichu's breathing guide, mood and sleep tracking, insights and reminders are there to help you build routines and notice patterns. They are not medical, psychological or professional advice, and they are no substitute for a qualified professional. If you're struggling, please reach out to a doctor, a mental health professional, or your local emergency number.

8.Our service and changes

seichu, including its design, software, mascot and branding, belongs to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it. They don't give you any rights to our name or branding.

We're always improving seichu, so features may be added, changed or removed. If we ever shut seichu down, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9.Ending your use

You can stop using seichu and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if your use puts other users or seichu at risk. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

10.Disclaimers

We work hard to keep seichu reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that seichu will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. Please keep your own copy of anything important; you can export your data at any time.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, seichu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to seichu is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits any liability, or any consumer rights, that cannot be limited under the law where you live.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using seichu after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
